| Keyword Searches (Any Words, All Words) |
|
An All Words query will return results containing at least one occurrence of every single one of the keywords or quoted
phrases you enter.
An Any Words query is much less specific and will return results containing at least one occurrence of at least one of the
keywords or quoted phrases you enter. This is the least specific type of search, and therfore returns the most results.
|
| Exact Phrase Searches |
|
The Exact Phrase search method looks for the Exact Phrase you type into the search box. Search will return results that contain at least one occurrence of the
exact string of words you entered in the exact order you entered them. For example searching for water will only return
water and not watery.

| Boolean Searches |
|
Boolean searching is used mostly by advanced searchers with specific information needs. Eprogen.com supports the standard Boolean
operators and syntax: And (and, &); Or (or, |); Not (and not, &!); and related precedence operators such as (), "", etc.
|
| Category Searching |
|
In addition to choosing the type of search you want to perform, you can select a category of content by checking and/or un-checking
selections.
